We use different neuroscience methods (genetics, MRI, endocrinology, physiology and eye-tracking) to investigate the biological basis of individual differences in behavior. Our focus therefore lies on a multimethod approach including experimental data. However, the main method used is molecular genetics. We run genetic laboratories being able to conduct all standard methods in genetics, including mass-spectrometry and epigenetics. Especially the latter method is of high interest from a psychological perspective: the idea that environment can also have an impact on our genes.
